Please note that our design services are for in-house projects only.
The first level of design is usually a hand drafted line drawing. Our professionally trained design team will meet with you to discuss your dreams and ideas. The designer will review site details and begin discussing potential design options. Often our designers will provide you with a hand sketch of your project and a written estimate of the cost. For many of our projects, the hand drawn design is enough for our crews to take to the field and install the project. As the complexity of a project increases, so does the need for a more complex and complicated drawings as you’ll see below.
The second level of design is a consultation that’s done with you in our office. This typically occurs following a site visit by one of our team members. During our consultation we will begin to look at the available product choices, colors, patterns, and design features that are available. If this is our first meeting it may be wise to bring a couple photos of the project area with 1 or 2 dimensions of the space so that we can create a hand drawn design.
The next level in the design process is to produce a CAD drawing. CAD drawings allow us to get detailed with the information we want to communicate. Notes and graphics can be adjusted as needed for each phase for the project. We can show everything from paver patterns, plant selections, future design elements, border details and anything else you need.
The last level in our design process is 3-D rendering. By 3D rendering we can assists in the visualization of the general design concepts and elements. For those who like a visual representation of what the final project will look like, this can be a great tool to have.
